Shocktech est. 2003

Established in 2003 by Epicenter a.k.a c0de! a former EG player that moved over to Redstar in 2003 built Shocktech due to the lack of squads in the zone at the time.  Bringing his personal friend and neighbor at the time Amphitheater a.k.a zer0_cool(flag) and recruiting players like TheCript who barely knew English, Buffy, Factual, a loner and a few others created Shocktechs original roster.  loni a player not really known at the time joined Shocktech but eventually left Shocktech to create Tirana with other squads in the zone dieing off Tirana soon became Shocktechs rival squad based on being the only other competitive squad in the zone at the time.  But everything good eventually comes to an end.  Redstar eventually died with inactivity and hiring of new staff that killed off the zone Redstar died in 2009 and Shocktechs activity left with it.

Shocktech was rebuilt in Extreme-Games by Amphitheater in August of 2012 from the ground up.  Grabbing old players from Redstar that now reside in Extreme-Games due to the death of Redstar, a few EG vets and recruiting players in Extreme-Games that aren't very well known but had some skill Shocktech was on the rise again.  Shocktech entered into its first season of EGFL in 2012 which ended with not very great results Shocktech still survived as a squad based on the loyalty of its members and the hard work of the Captains.  Since August Shocktech has so far seen 11 squads built with 8 of them dieing off and its only December.  Since the end of the EGFL season Shocktechs roster has increased in size bringing in many great players.  Time will only tell what the future will bring but Shocktech is not slowing down.  As time goes on we will only get better and stronger.

Amphitheater - "I remade Shocktech in Eg because when I came back to this game in 2012 I only really wanted to play with people I liked and not just players because their good.  After EGDL ended that summer I decided to build it with old players from Redstar that havent really established themselves in EG yet.  Other players that I noticed could rush but people weren't aware of them.  And lastly old vets from EG that still play but never really got into league play type of flagging.  With that came the comradery of all of us learning a new style of flagging.  EG flagging has become more strategic than just the old blind rushing that we were used to.  I think its important to start a squad from the bottom and working your way up.  From that you get loyalty of the players that have developed with you."
